— Dr. David Hoyle (Course Leader Film & TV/ UAL)
I truly believe that Jannik’s love for the art of theatre is more enduring than the fleeting moment on stage, or more eloquent than his passionate discussion of literature. For him it is something as innate to life itself, as natural as the drawing of a breath.

Jannik’s empathy with his character’s frailties, ambitions and desires, as well as his lowest depths of despair paint a clear understanding of the psychology of the human condition. This sense of balance is amplified by the desire to share and be inspired by those around him.

It was clear from the beginning that it was Jannik’s passion for characterisation that would draw others into his creative world. His leadership, maturity and humour made all of us reach for the best that we could offer one another as well as our audiences.
